Application Surface Preparation

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Maximum moisture content: ≤5%.
2. Substrate must have a compressive strength ≥25 MPa and a cohesive bond strength ≥1.5 MPa. New concrete must cure for 28 days before membrane application.
3. Use a grinding machine to remove old coatings, grease, and debris, and smooth irregularities. Clean thoroughly. For non-concrete substrates, consult technical support.

1. Mix Lava 20 Coloured Top Coat well for consistency.
2. Use a roller, brush, or airless spray to apply in 1–2 layers.
3. Wait 3–6 hours between layers, no more than 36 hours.
4. Apply at 5°C–35°C. Avoid high humidity, which may affect curing.
5. Optional: Sprinkle flakes/ quartz on the wet top coat for flake flooring systems
